Terms and Conditions

Treatment Details:

    • Exterior spray, single treatment with a pyrethrin (oil from the chrysanthemum flower) based insecticide. It will help with more than just spiders.
    • ZAP Pest Control offers a 60-day limited warranty. If within the 60-day warranty period there are still problem areas with spiders, only those problem areas will be touched-up.
    • Please allow 30-40 days after the initial treatment for the formula to work to control the spider population. There should be a steady decrease in spider activity over this period as the formula has a residual effect.

Safety: The spray is safe for kids and pets. However, it is recommended to let the treated areas dry for 1-2 hours before allowing pets or kids to play around the sprayed areas. This ensures the treatment’s effectiveness is not compromised.

Seasonal Treatment: This is a seasonal treatment and is not a one-time, permanent fix.

Payment:  Payment can be made with Cash, VISA, Mastercard, or Debit.

Out of Warranty Option: If after a month or two you need a second treatment, we can provide a “booster” spray in problem areas for only $145 + GST. This booster will also extend your warranty to the end of the season. Whether or not this will be needed depends on your expectations.

Scheduling: Keep in mind, the more residences that join this group buy, the longer it may take for ZAP Pest Control to get to your appointment. We aim to schedule neighborhoods at the same time, so please be patient about scheduling. If you don’t hear from us right away, that is normal. Your address is on this form, and we will be contacting people in groups.

Common Questions

Will pressure washing the house hurt this?
Yes, if you want to do some spring pressure washing now would be a good time get it done before we spray. Note: our treatment spray around the windows may leave water marks on the windows, this can be washed after treatment.

How effective is this? It is BAD where we are!
You will notice a difference within 24 hours of our service. For most houses, one service appointment is all you need. If the spiders are very bad, we do offer a booster spray to get you through the summer.

Does the spider species matter?
We spray for all common species in Calgary.

Do you spray inside AND outside?
This is only outside treatment. We spray around all door ways and windows. For most cases, an outside spray is all you need. Interior treatment is available upon request for an additional charge.
